Safari is a celebrated web browser from Apple, also available for Windows. Safari for Windows (version 5.1.7) features an exclusive bookmark manager, tabbed browsing and inbuilt search, as well as an autocomplete tool, an RSS feed, and a pop-up blocker. Safari is one of the fastest browsers out there, and it won't destroy your laptop's battery.
This version comes with Safari Reader, which appears next to the URL field. As soon as you click the Reader, the text, along with photos and links, is displayed in a significantly cleaner way, reminding an ebook.
Use Full History Search to quickly find sites using the vaguest search terms - a useful feature for locating a site you visited earlier, but can't exactly remember.
When using Private Browsing mode, Safari doesn’t remember your search history, the pages you visit, or your AutoFill info. Websites you view in one tab don’t see your cookies from websites in another tab since each tab is isolated in a Private Browsing mode.
The other useful features include Cover Flow allowing you to view bookmarks iTunes style as well as Top Pages showcasing your most popular pages at a glimpse, in each tab you open.
Note: during the installation, you are offered to install other Apple products. Make sure to untick the boxes during this process.
